The Maleny Arts Co-op is a community-driven organization dedicated to cultivating, supporting, and promoting a vibrant arts environment. We provide platforms for artists to showcase their work, collaborate, share their skills, and mentor youth and emerging talent. Our mission is to celebrate diverse creativity, inspire artistic expression, and enrich the cultural life within our region.

Steve McLeish
Chairperson
Steve is our Chairperson, our leader, and visionary for our Co-op. For decades Steve has been hands-on involved in local art and music circles as a performer and organiser and also is Festival Director for our highly successful Wood Expo -
Rob Catania
Secretary
Rob is our Co-op secretary. He has a forensic mind which comes to the fore when following and untangling the bureaucratic red tape. His minutes of our meetings are a thing to behold. -
Brett Campbell
Treasurer
Brett is our treasurer and a wonderful blend of logic and creativity. Being both the ‘Barefoot Bookkeeper’ and amazing mosaic artist, Brett has a unique perspective of the business of the Arts. -
Sue Palmer
Director
Sue is the kind and generous maître d of ‘Maleny Lane’. With a keen eye for aesthetics and design, Sue has turned the Maleny Lane into a beautiful, creative wonderland… it has become the cultural heart throb of Maleny. -
Arcadia Love
Director
Arcadia is a wordsmith and wise woman. She has been involved in the Maleny art scene hosting events for many years. Arcadia has an eagle eye for editing and her writings are witty and poetic while succinct. -
Asha Hay
Director
Asha is a vibrant entrepreneurial sound man and event organiser. His passion for live audio and supporting young, up and coming artists is infectious. He brings many skills to the table and has the drive to fulfill his wildest dreams.

Megan is a multi-faceted wonder soul. She has so many skills and abilities that to list them would be book sized.

Amber Rivalland
Administration
Amber is our admin magician. Her fingers moving over the keys are a blur and her knowledge of systems leave nothing to be forgotten. Amber helps out with membership matters, website and the background bits.

Dominique Livkamal
Social Media
Dominique is our local naturopath at Medicine Room. She has published three books and has a diploma in Journalism. She has been a programmer at Woodford Folk festival since 2007 and she runs "High Vibes on The Mountain " in Maleny. Dom is generally a benevolent creative who loves helping out on Community Projects.

Over 40% of our music events have been cancelled due to inclement weather this year. A roof over Maleny Lane will provide a reliable space for events, enhancing the opportunities for local musicians and artists, and creating a vibrant community hub for all to enjoy.
